Through participating in the "Business-School Partnership Programme" of the Education Bureau, Harbour Plaza Resort City hopes to provide a learning opportunity for students to understand different careers in the hotel industry and establish good work attitude so as to the changing economy and society.

During my 3 days of working at Harbour Plaza Resort City, I stayed at the concierge which was responsible for answering questions related to transportation and travelling tips. They also offered booking services of shuttle buses. Through participating in this work experience, I not only can develop my interpersonal and communication skills, I also learn more about the hotel industry. Besides, I realized the main difference between working in a hotel and other office job is that you have to stand for a really long time each day. I am glad I was given this valuable opportunity and I surely would like another work experience chance in the future.
