I found the visit to Cathay Pacific Catering Services very interesting and unforgettable. I have always been curious about the meal production process and the reason why the company has such a large production volume. Therefore, I am very glad that I have this opportunity to know more about the catering services provided by Cathay Pacific Catering Services (HK) Ltd. During the visit, I understand that technology and manpower allocation are very important in meal production. Machines like delivery tools and allocation of people to different positions such as dessert making and packaging can increase efficiency. I understand that it is not easy to produce what seems to be a simple meal. I also learnt that preservation of meals and management of leftover are issues that need to be considered.
