The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) strives to nurture young talents. Through the cultural facilities, including museums, libraries and performing arts venues, we organise various educational activities for students, with the aims to cater for their learning needs and interests; unleash their potentials; and build their foundations for future development.
LCSD runs 15 museums and 2 art spaces, each one unique in its focus, covering the areas of art, history and science. Our vision is to offer inspiring experiences to be enjoyed by all.
In order to encourage students to broaden their horizons, as well as creating synergy with the "Business-School Partnership Programme" of EDB, the LCSD has launched the "Museum Series" life planning activities. Our museum experts hosted exchange sessions for students, facilitated them to learn more about the museum profession, challenges and opportunities; and inspired them to equip themselves for the museum and cultural industries at large.
The upcoming "Museum Series" life planning activities including curators’ sharing, exhibition visits, behind-the-scenes tours and interactive sessions will take place in October and November. Schools interested are welcomed to contact Mr FONG (jpyfong@lcsd.gov.hk / 3549-6200)
