The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong

Founded in 1936, The Boys & Girls Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) is a local non-governmental organisation dedicated to the welfare of children and youth aged between 3 and 35 years old. In response to rapid changes of our social milieu in recent years, BGCA has established various new and diversified educational services and counselling services.

Through the participation in the “Business-School Partnership Programme”, we aim to promote our financial literacy programme supported by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and collaborate with schools, with a view helping more students acquire the knowledge of financial management through diversified activities and lay a solid foundation for their future study and work.

The 4th Junior Financial Secretary Programme

Being a junior financial secretary in this year, I learnt a lot of financial skills and related knowledge. With these skills and knowledge, I am able to better manage my financial situation and can spread the message to create a better society, which is fulfilling my wishes. Last but not least, I made plenty of friends through this programme. Though we are all from different schools, we cooperated well under the guidance of two friendly facilitators. Without them, I could not have finished the financial report myself. This friendship is the most treasurable thing I have obtained from the programme.
