Civil Service Bureau assumes overall policy responsibility for the management of the civil service, including such matters as appointment, pay and conditions of service, staff management, manpower planning, training and discipline.

Through the Business-School Partnership Programme, CSB aims to provide more information about the civil service and different grades of the government in order to enable young people to better plan their future career development and attract those interested in a career in public service to join the civil service.
