Heritage and Museums Division, Leisure and Cultural Services Department

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) strives to nurture young talents. Through the cultural facilities, including museums, libraries and performing arts venues, we organise various educational activities for students, with the aims to cater for their learning needs and interests; unleash their potentials; and build their foundations for future development.

LCSD runs 15 museums and 2 other cultural spaces, each one unique in its focus, covering the areas of art, history and science. Our vision is to offer inspiring experiences to be enjoyed by all.

In order to encourage students to broaden their horizons, as well as creating synergy with the "Business-School Partnership Programme" of EDB, the LCSD has launched the brand new "Museum Series" life planning talks. Our museum experts hosted exchange sessions for students, facilitated them to learn more about the museum profession, challenges and opportunities; and inspired them to equip themselves for the museum and cultural industries at large.

The "Museum Series" life planning activities of this year were successfully held in July and November respectively with exhibition visits, behind-the-scene tours, curators’ sharing and interactive activities. Please see below for the event highlights, and stay tuned for the activities next season!
